Every now and then I have blog-worthy material... so I may as well expound here. I'm considering giving in, and picking up a myspace and facebook to communicate with others... I can't help but feel a bit dirty at doing so. I generally regard such social networking sites as somewhat of a disease: people seem to catch them, they spread (infect?), and everyone gets sucked down as they [the sites] siphon away said people's lives. The problem is, when one has family members who don't seem to want to share their emails, but are more than happy to add you to facebook (I do), and when you have business you want to interact with because you happen to like their leather products for renaissance festivals and they, as well, don't disclose an email or a product list (I do), one's options seem limited, no?

In other news, I went to the renaissance festival in Kansas City, and it was amazing. I look forward to going again next year. I also plan on attending other festivals next year, and the wife seems down with the idea. I guess it kinda goes without saying that she would be going with me; married for a year, and I'm still getting used to certain things being applied. Refocusing, the wife and I need to get garb for the festivals. We've found some starter stuff, and we'll upgrade later.

I did a mass-purge on all journals/deviations, so if there is something that anyone wants me to read/look at, let me know - I just had too much poo in the inbox, and I figure if no one takes the time to read these, they're not going to be that hurt if I don't see their stuff...
